A friend of mine lost her dog due to an incompetant vet.She had necropsy reports etc,but no other vet would go on record and say 100% the vet caused the dog to die.One of our horses had his shoulder badly bitten by another horse,the vet took too long to get here,said the wound couldn't be stitched,didn't clean it,had to be told to give horse pain meds and seemed to afraid of the horses to do much of anything useful.Our current horse vet said although he missed a lot of things that should have been done for the horse we couldn't say he was incompetant.At least not legally
