I agree with L4H that as long as there are so many amazing dogs and cats that are being put down, that there is no point in breeding... is it to 'preserve' a breed? well all a breed is, is something that us humans created anyways...
who cares what breed your dog is? If you are getting a dog because you simply want a dog of a certain 'look' maybe a dog is not for you...
If people believe this, why do they put on their posts that they own a 'GSD', a 'Himilayan cat' or whatever. Why not just put x number of cats, or dogs, or their names instead of giving one iota of credit to the breeders(
) in the past who created these beautiful purebred animals?
To be believable why show pride in anything that might be purebred? Have a crossbreed as your avatar for instance.
