We have quite afew Blood donors at our local Vet Emerg Clinic. They are offered free blood profiles ( a must to show dog is healthy for donanating) and vaccines (if owners want it).
they can only give blood once a month.
We had alittle dog that needed a blood transfusion.......we called a great dane in to be a donor..........The owner of the little dog couldn't believe her eyes and stated that "her dog always wanted to be a big dog". The little fella lived
