Hi

I read all your replies. ((((hugs)))) to all of you.

I am a little numb right now, but I know that Sam is in a good place.
He was full of cancer, probably in the bone marrow. After speaking to the vet on Thurs., we decided that because we were less and less able to keep him comfortable, it was time to let him go. I wanted to bring him home--just to let him go outside for a bit(he was an indoor cat, but always wanted to go out), but he was just too sick.

I brought him his blankie and held him and he just put his head into me as if to say "please, mom it's time...." and he went to Rainbow Bridge, peacefully, in my arms.

I miss you sooo much, little buddy, but I know that you are not suffering anymore.
Frankie misses you too, and wishes you wer heere toeat out of both food bowls...and I'll whack Gypsy across the nose once in a while--for no reason!!--and tell her that it's from you!!

Thanks for Bmdluver for everything!!! You went above and beyond for us.
Thanks to you guys, for your kind words and encouragemnt during all of this.

my kids, who understood soo much more than mommy thought.....
and my husband who thought he wasnt' a "cat person" , held my hand as we both cried all the way home yesterday..

but Thanks most of all to Sam. For fighting so hard and having the courage
to let go. You were always so happy, no one even knew you were sick.

Have fun at The Bridge, Sammo, we love you very much.
