Exclamation Questions on pregnant cat and vaccines.

This thread is geared to the cat specialists that perhaps can help me.

I was at the shelter pulling animals for rescue. I saw a very pregnant gal who is due in about 2 weeks. As she was a stray I could not pull her until the pre-allocated time period for owner to surface. 7 days later...no owner.

I had my name on the file to not euthanize and I will pick her up as I have a foster home for her. My options were to either take her as is or have the kittens aborted.

As she is 2 weeks away (maybe sooner) I took the decision to take her as is. I did not want to have the babies euth'd and also for her mental well being I decided to let her have her babies. Right or wrong decision...I don't know.

However, the vet vaccinated her with modified Live Virus and Felo guard +3 (I don't know what this means). I have googled this and found out that this is problematic for her and the unborn but I cannot find anything relevant to the delivery date and when the vaccines are administered.

So - it is not too late to have her aborted though I rather not. Does anyone have any insight if this was safe to do, and if not, what can I expect if I let her go full term? I do not want to put her life in jeapordy first and faremost.

Can someone help me with this? I have 3 days to make up my mind on whether or not to abort.

Thanks for your reply to a very difficult situation.
