Chocolate Macadamia Nut Chews
1 pound bittersweet or milk chocolate chopped
1 cup whole macadamia nuts
1 cup coarsely chopped good quality caramels
Place chocolate over low heat in a heavy pot stirring occasionally until chocolate melts. Remove from heat. Stir in nuts and caramel pieces. Using a spoon drop mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet into whatever shape and size your little heart desires. Makes about 20 medium-sized chews.
