Meenie, when I got my two Malamute puppies they were afraid of the vacuum, but we overcame that by giving them treats while vacuuming. They are very food motivated. Got to the point I had to move them outside while I cleaned because they were hounding for treats when the vacuum ran. Started with treats while it was off. Then a treat when it was on but not moving. Then a treat while I was vacuuming. Fear of the vacuum is fixable!
