The procedure gets trickier the further along the pregnancy is. Our little gal was only 2-3 weeks along, and she recovered lickity-split, no differently than any of our other cats. She seemed much happier for it, actually...she got down to the business of just being a young, happy-go-lucky kitten, rather than worrying about her condition.
