LR, maybe it is not fair. But maybe, Just maybe she was meant to be there for you, and not the other way around. Maybe you were meant to be together so that she could teach you something.
It is so hard when a life, someone you loved with your whole person is taken away so unexpectedly. The greatest thing you can do is give back...whatever she taught you. I am sure you gave her the love she always deserved and needed. You were the angel she always needed, and you were there when she needed you the most.
