I don't know too much about dog nutrition, but there will be somebody that will be able to give you some advice.
Sounds like Dixie is quite a hero . fighting off a bear to save her guardians.
As for colouring, we sure would love to see pictures of your beauty so we can share in the joy of looking at her.
