Having just read your other thread a couple more questions:

Are you still wetting down the dry food? How long does it sit in the dish before it is all eaten?

Dryfood that has moisture added to it is a breeding ground for mold & bacteria unless it is eaten within 1 hour of being watered down. The chemicals and preservatives in the dryfood react badly to moisture. Also depending on how it is stored by the warehouse & how long there have been some companies in the past with issues of mold on the food in the sealed bag.
