Hi Isabel,

It's all about time in your case. Cats do vomit from time to time. They often don't eat much after the episode since their stomachs are upset.

HOWEVER this situation should be a temporary one, and the cat should start eating by the following day.

If the cat is not eating for more than that....go see a vet.

MORE SERIOUS is when the cat stops drinking. If the cat stops drinking for a full day, you have a more serious problem and should seek veterinary care ASAP.
