Peaches slept in bed with me last night so I could monitor her (not a word about this anyone.....it truly was to monitor
). She slept soundly and did not budge that I woke up several times to ensure everything was ok.
What I have noticed is that she is very very thin. I knew it before but now you can really see her bones. She also has loose stools which can be attributed to the various meds she is on for kennel cough, vitamins and pain killer. Also, she is not eating as much as before maybe due to 6 teeth being extracted???
Presently she is on Low Fat food from the clinic. They have asked me to continue this until she is more stable and on less meds. I will follow these instructions of course.
I have Wellness, Merrick, Natural Balance all stocked ready for her. Just need to get through the next few weeks with many follow up vet appointments to ensure she recovers from the operation and also for all blood levels and of course the anemia.
Other than the above - she is doing very well.
