I would assume that your pharmacist may well stop making pet prescriptions if supply becomes an issue. If my pet depended on anti seizure drugs I would certainly talk to my vet and ask their opinion on it and the possibility of laying in a supply for a couple of months in advance if you can afford it. Sort of buy two or three months worth every two or three months, always keeping the newest in reserve in case of an emergency shortage.

It's very sad, I saw the story on the news.
