You know, Carina, that's a trick my husband used to do all the time with his family's Schnauzer (sp?). He'd blow in his noise and his lips would flap. The dog LOVED it. If course, he hasn't had the guts to try it with our Great Dane Laurel yet, but funny you should mention it... hmmm... maybe I'll get him to try it... Hopefully it won't be like the picture, because man, when she lets one go... phew!!! A mighty wind indeed.

Here's a somewhat related topic... Laurel is my first dog (Great Dane, I know, not the easiest of breeds to start with.. but I don't start small!!) When a dog farts, is it usually an indication they have to go "#2" or are they just passing gas for the sake of it? It just so happens that the few times Laurel has "let one rip" I took her out and.. well, the rest is giant breed history. She does cry to go out when she needs to, so it's not a problem of knowing if she has to go or not, and she's never had an accident in the house (including today and she had a bit of the runs this morning, I half-expected a house covered in it after 3 horus alone while I was at work!) so I'm not worried, I suppose I'm just curious?
