thank you for your advice, I am definitely not solely relying on advice from the net. I have spoken with my vet over the phone and I believe that somehow her membrane has healed as the babies are still alive, they would most definitely have been dead at this point if there was a problem. I am more experienced with human pregnancy and did not know whether this was possible but as it has been now about 50 hours and they are still kicking around alot. I feel that this must be what happened and that is why she did not go into labor. Rest assured that if she is suffering in any way due to a problem with the babies that I will at least have her euthanised rather than let her suffer.
