Please let us know when your pup takes a liking to treats. I casually mentioned your post to my husband and he didn't believe me. Re the not coming when called, well not uncommon in a Dachshund. But will keep one eye open ready to capitulate once you have shown you really want him to move it. Same as when you must beg forgiveness because the dog is mad at you for something he did - very hard to stay annoyed with a little tiny Doxie.
