Thanks raingirl.

I decided to make my own cake in the end. This is what happens when you have no kids - you end up making cakes for your dog.

Here's the recipe if anyone is interested.

Prep time: about 20 minutes / 25 maximum
Temperature: 375 degrees (F) for app. 20 minutes (depending on your oven) or until it's not sloopyish (that's a technical term if you weren't aware )

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 cup tuna
1 - 1 1/2 cups of ground up treats or dog food
3/4 cup of milk (or water - I prefer milk)
3/4 cup of flour
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1/2 cup of sugar (optional)
peanut butter or whipped cream for topping

Cooking directions:
Beat eggs in large bowl. Mix in flour and tuna and ground-up food/treats. Next, blend in milk or water and vegetable oil. Stir in the half a cup of sugar.
Poor in a no bigger than two inch thick pan. Place in oven at 375 for app. 20 minutes or until firm.
Spread PB or WC over top and sprinkle with smaller treats or milk bones.
