BM and gG make good suggestions here. Older cats like older humans often get arthritis and this would likely be one of the things a vet check on.

But almost all older cats that live long enough (as far as I know) eventually encounter kidney problems and sometimes smaller changes like diet can help A LOT. I'd also be discussing this with my vet.

Good luck - you are lucky you have a cat with such longevity.
