thanks everyone, especially not for being judgemental of the thoughtlessness on my behalf. i know i haven't been the most responsible pet owner, but i really really love my cat & would do anything to have her home safe & sounds.
i know my cat needs to be fixed, & i there's no excuse for me not having it done already. the day she went missing i had called the vet a few hours before, but of course i had to cancel the appointment when she got out. if she comes home, i still have the money set aside so she will have a vet visit as early as i can get one.
it's been 5 days now, & i haven't seen a sign of her. i've put up signs around town, called the SPCA & a local pet finding group so hopefully someone will be able to help. i'm scared & going crazy with guilt because it was my own fault that she got out. i honestly don't know how i'll cope if she doesn't come home. i don't think i'll ever forgive myself.
