In the winter we have all kinds of Hawks here,probably because of the Pigeons and all the other birds,at the feeders,especially in the winter.
I know right away if there is a Hawk around,the birds all fly in to the cedars,the only thing the Pigeons can do is try to fly away,they are really good fliers.
I do really love to see the Hawks,they are beautiful and they have to eat..

If my cats catch anything,like a poor little mouse,there is no way I am letting the cats torture it,we take their victims away,before any damage has been done,seeing we are always with the cats.
I have seen mice play dead,belly up,until we leave him and he'll run off,cute little guys.
