Hello,
I don't mean to hijack the thread, but my kitten's seem to be overweight. I'm not feeding them "raw" (not really sure what that entails), but they are getting
Nutro Max Cat. I did a little searching saw that it lists:
Protein - 34%
Fat - 20$
Purina Pro Plan has:
Protein - 41%
Fat - 18%
That's about as much as I know. The 2 kittens are Bob and Larry @ 4 months. As of 10-17, they were 10 and 8.5lbs. The bag says 1/2 cup and I've been feeding them about that, maybe more cause they're ALWAYS hungry. I can't even eat food in the same room without them mauling me anymore.
Here's a couple pics (click for larger) and a short movie of what they did tonight!
1.3MB, 11 sec
Are they too fat? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Cheers,
Jod
EDIT: I read the sticky about the "truth" and now have about 10 tabs up from a search on "kitten food". Forums rule. Thanks folks.
EDIT2: Just gave them a little vanilla yoplait and they liked that. Innova? came up quite a few times in the food search. I'm not really sure where to find this tho...and holistic something too.
