I thought wool would be only from sheep. After all, dogs aren't sheep!!
Hmmm, I don't really know, but I'm pretty sure that wool only comes from sheep. You could find a Poodle breeder on the internet and email him/her with the question.
I have a Mini Poodle X, and he doesn't shed at all. He is a cross, and doesn't shed, so I don't think a pure Poodle would shed.
