What I absolutely loved about Merle's Door (I promise I won't give it all away
SnowDancer ) is that it
does contain a lot of info and opinions about training methods (many other authors are quoted in the book) as well as Kerasote's views of the human/dog relationship.
It got me thinking about the 'artificial' lives that some provide their dogs with vs the lives they would lead if permitted to make more of their own choices.
