I switched my beagle to Solid Gold recently (thanks to Prin's advice) and she eats it twice a day. She loves her new food! I switched because Solid Gold was better than what I was giving her before, not because she was bored of it or didn't like it. (Try finding a beagle, or any hound, that doesn't like food!) She had eaten the same thing for a few years. I don't switch her food often, in fact, it is not recommended. I also don't have to add anything to it.
