I have seen this condition before and meds are not going to bring down this type of damage...as it is damage now. I highly doubt the owners will put a red cent into surgery so the only alternative if that is the case is pain relief and anything to continue to control the swelling.
Chico2 - you are an angel for helping this poor soul. This dog may not mean a thing to them, but you mean EVERYTHING to this dog...and Bailey is aware of this fact.
