By any chance do you have a picture that I can see of this dog. I don't want to get your hopes up, but I recently saw a sign posted in my area (Bloor and Dovercourt) of a dog that had been found. The picture is of a dog that is white and tan, longish hair, female, they say she is very friendly. She doesn't have the longer snout that border collies tend to have, but you do say that this dog is a mix. I took the number down, just in case I came across something online, and saw your post! I thought maybe if I saw a pic first, I could save you some heartache if this is not your dog - I know that dogs have travelled quite aways from home, but this dog has been found quite far from where you say she was lost - obviously its worth checking out.
