I called the humane society, but they are closed today. I left a message on their voicemail. I'm guessing I'll be hearing from them on Tuesday at the earliest.
I called my vet clinic and explained the situation, but the receptionist told me to call the humane society and wouldn't even tell me what the treatment would be for hot spots. She just said that it would be a $60 examination fee and that wouldn't include any drugs that they would want to give her. I do not have the money for that.
I guess I'll just wait until the humane society calls me back. I'll keep an eye on the spots for now to see if they get worse or heal.
