so sorry Chico, I too love to watch hawks...I get one here that likes to 'shop' at my feeders, if I'm home I try to scare it off... not that I don't want it to eat, I just don't want to see it.
Isn't it funny how attached we get to the wild birds we feed? We can't pet them, or interact with them too much, but I know when I found one of our regular finches dead of natural causes beneath the feeders, I cried for an hour or so and had to have a proper funeral for it too.
