Does your kitty seem bothered by the infection? I'm curious because occasionally our dogs will pick up staph from the grass in fall and develop lesions--but they never seem to be too bothered by them. We also use an antibacterial foam bath that seems quite effective.

We do for the dogs what sugarcatmom suggests--try to boost the immune system.
