My Golden Blaze did pee when he was too excited when people came to the door or to see people. But it did stop as he got older and I don't believe it is because of bad breeding. Many puppies do it and grow out of it. It has nothing to do with him being fearful, socialization is not a problem he meets many people and loves them too much.
