First off welcome to the forum and I hope we can help.

I'll get straight to the point though because kitty probably isn't feeling perfectly fine even though she may look good.

Basically any type of pus would likely require antibiotics. Certainly tapeworms require medication. Even if the 'pus' is a normal secretion, the forced defecation needs to be solved....I hate to say it but a pro needs to see what's going on.
There's no wiggle room here imo, even though kitty hates vets....it's vet time. Please keep us updated and let us know of any additional information.
