Naturezrevenge, you asked about dog trainers in Vancouver. I have used Dawn Adair (she is the founder and owner of For the Love of Dogs). She has been excellent and stresses positive reinforcement. To her credit, she has a rescued Akita that, when she got him, was extremely dog aggressive and now he can go into any dog park and play (not saying she will be able to have this same success with your dog) and she is currently working with a coyote cross that she rescued.
