Thanks. I hope so! I just talked to DH on the phone and he said it's a great idea, but suggested we leave the letter for the family first - give them a last chance to change their ways.
I've agreed, will drop it off, and still email the rescue to make them aware of the situation. If nothing else, a vet visit would do wonders for this little man.
