I have one dog that is a bleeder, learning something like that before a surgery with bloodwork means the vet would know a transfusion needs to be done before operating so the dog does not bleed to death on the operating table, my pets do not even get a dental done without blood work first to make sure nothing is wrong that could cause complication during anesthesia.
