Oh, good luck with finding a vet that charges less than $50 a visit. The "cheapest" I have found in this area was $56. After going to him for a while I found out he is great with dogs. Not so great with cats.
Not sure we can actually mention vet's names on Pets for legal reasons. I think that's stated somewhere in the rules? But people can PM you with the info you want.
I tend to turn a deaf ear when vets start pushing their junky food. Or pretend interest and not buy any works too. Earlier in the year I did send one vet a huge amount of information on feeding canned or raw. She had asked for some proof as to why dry was harmful to cats.
