Tank size and water parameters are very important.. but just to add to what's already been mentioned.

Oscars are pouty fish. They will sulk and usually do so by laying on the bottom on their side. BUT since they have been fighting it's probably stressed. Oscars can be territorial and that's more than likely what's happening. You'll probably need to rehome one, or buy a much larger tank.
