Same sex marriage is legal in BC as well.
The city of Vancouver is gorgeous and has a higher standard of living. Real estate is at an all time high. It's very diverse and that's what I love. The city of Surrey, on the other hand, has the highest murder rate per capita so we too experience media frenzy. Sometimes I wonder if BC is the best place for us... then I think we do have the best weather out here in the westcoast! I prefer rain over snow!
