Yeah, I'm not sure why a vet would say that
Because first rule of post S/N is you need to get them to start eating a tiny bit at a time as soon as they get home to avoid having their blood sugar crash and them go into shock.
It's up to you though, if that's what your vet said maybe they have a reason for it? They might use different protocols.
Just glad your little man is doing already
