Starlings are different than grackles--both can be real feeder and suet hogs.
Starlings have yellow bills and stubby tails. I've heard that mixing safflower seed into the sunflower before filling your feeders will discourage grackles...but I've never had
any bird eat any safflower here, so it sort of makes them all go away
And what's the fun in that?
Lucky and Penny only roll in the poop balls? Our guys find rabbit raisins to be delectable
