I think that's just his colour talking to you
I don't see BMD at all. Others with similar colouring could be Kelpie, Border Collie or Australian Shepherd but I don't see any of them either.
He's gorgeous whatever he is
I have a couple I'll never know for sure about either (Thunder & Flash).
