I have to admit I am ignorant in the workings of a rescue as I would never use one to surrender a pet. I would work with that pet to get it turned around. So I have a question. Do rescues charge a surrender fee? I know shelters do if it's an owner surrender.

* Should add I am not sure how a dog rescue works. With cats and the rescues I work with they don't charge.
