Wink Let's share some tips about how to use the features of this site...

We were talking about how to use quotes in another thread, and I thought I would start this thread. Well, mona_b thought I should start this thread. So here it is. Any discoveries that would make our lives easier are welcome.

Here's Safyre and my explanation on quotes:

Copy the text you want to quote into your reply. Then, with that info highlighted, press the QUOTE button (the one that looks like a bubble with lines on it) You will see [ quote ]
at the beginning and end of the text. if you want to show who it is from yuo would add = Safyre to the first quote ... so it would look like this
without the spaces
And this is my attempt at explaining how to get a quote within a quote. After you've copied and pasted all the quotes you want to use:

You have to work backwards.

Another thing I learned is with pm's. When you send a pm, the pop up says, "Request read receipt?" If you press CANCEL, you don't request it. The message still sends, you just don't fill up your mailbox with read receipts.

Anybody else?
