I don't know anything about the Lyme's issue - but I do know my dog never liked eating Nutro. He always needed to be coaxed to eat and always seemed to take in the bare minimum of what he needed. A recent switch to Canidae showed me how he should have been eating - He LOVES his food now and eats right away. I'd consider making a switch - www.dogfoodanalysis.com helped me make a decision about new food. Good luck!
