If you call the newspaper, they should be able to tell you if they use nontoxic inks, bskillings. I know more and more around here the newspapers were going to soy inks, which I believe are nontoxic. If you're still worried after talking to them, a quick call to the vet might set your mind at ease--they might even have some tips for cleaning off his feet.
