My dog is a 3 year old fixed male and my girlfriend has a 3 year old un fixed female, their is about a 40 pound size diffrence between them, and last time she was in heat they got stuck for a few secods, she dragged him across the room and ripped apart from him, it was very painful for them and I am sure it could cause injury, so im not going to allow it to happen again.

Does anyone know what injuries could occur from two dogs ripping themselves apart before their finished? Any knowledge anyone could share would be very helpful. Untill I know for sure theirs no harm that could be done im keeping them under supervision.
