I am wondering if you can help me. I am looking for something homeopathic to give our twelve year old border collie for fleas. Last year he was on the flea pill, but we think we could smell a chemical coming from it. Do you know where I can find something that would be good for him? Also what kind of food do you recommend for dogs?

I would like to find something I can buy in Canada.

Thank you very much for your time.

In homeopathic therapy, the specific prevention for dog fleas is Pulex canis (from dog fleas). The homeopathic dilution of the fleas, eliminate their presence on the pet. But it is hard to find that product in Canada. So I often suggest, on old patients, to rub on their fur a mixture of lemon and geranium oil a few times a week. They smell good, they have no fleas and there is no toxicity. You can find these oils under the name of Mustik from Homeocan in drugstores. In my clinic, I favor the Medical brand food, it is a good quality food for pets.
