I already have plenty of friends who compete with their dogs in various venues saying they will no longer be traveling to Montreal with their dogs due to fear of such draconian and backwards anti-dog law makers.

How Horrible! What if a dog was protecting their owner from another other dog
or a person or the dog was being abused and was defending itself? This law is a crime ! I am going to post this story in a deaf blog I use. We have members from all of the world.
