Actually, there's nothing wrong with feeding his
entire meal out of the kongs. Just fill them with his usual food mixed with
a bit of PB or cream cheese or whatever he likes and makes the kibble stick to the kong and a bit more difficult to get out.
Or, mix the kibble with a bit of wet food or gravy or youghurt or soup or... and freeze before giving it to him ( will be kinda messy one thawed but it's a nice crate treat.
This is also a good idea once he starts teething.
