Wikipedia has some good info on barn owls. According to them, 4 or 5 eggs are the usual.

Also says up to a dozen have been recorded. I pity the poor mom and dad owls who have to feed and train a dozen at a time.

Edit: Just checked the site and we missed the last hatch. Apparently Jody hatched at 3:47 pm California time.
